The fundamental mission of the World Association of Sleep Medicine (WASM) is to advance sleep health worldwide. WASM will fulfill this mission by promoting and encouraging education, research and patient care throughout the world, particularly in those parts of the world where the practice of sleep medicine is less developed. WASM will act as a bridge between different sleep societies and cultures, supporting and encouraging worldwide exchange of clinical information and scientific studies related to sleep medicine.  More information and membership details can be found at www.wasmonline.org

WASM is organizing the 4th International WASM Congress in Quebec City, Canada on September 10-15, 2011.  The WASM 2011 4th International Congress is an international educational forum aiming to advance current thinking, improve health and encourage prevention and treatment of sleep disorders worldwide.  The Congress will bring together leading experts to discuss and disseminate clinical knowledge amoungst sleep clinicians and researchers in the global advancement of sleep medicine.  For more information on the 4th International WASM Congress in Quebec City including delegate and sponsorship details please go to www.wasmcongress.com.
